Bringing single professional Catholics together,
in a Christian environment of friendship,
through social, recreational, athletic, cultural, charitable, and spiritual activities.
The Catholic Alumni Club is Pittsburgh's premier events organization for single professional Catholics. CAC is your gateway to meet people, make new friends, and enjoy good times with others who share your faith, values, and interests.
We’re single professional Catholics who are free to marry in the Catholic Church and over 21 years of age.
We come from many walks of life, and from all around Pittsburgh's tri-state area. But we do share a common faith and similar values, as we gather together in friendship, enjoying each others' company and the activities we are engaged in.
CAC of Pittsburgh offers a wide range of fun, exciting, and fulfilling activities. We have something for everyone!

Though CAC was originally established to bring together single Catholic college graduates (hence the word "Alumni"), over the years focus has shifted away from the educational requirement, and more toward bringing all Catholic singles together.
The organization's charter has remained the same throughout its history, so we offer three membership classes:
CAC of Pittsburgh is noted for its team sports. We host softball and tennis leagues from April to August. Additionally, we play pick-up volleyball weekly, year-round.
All three have the same primary mission: that we all have fun! Singles of all levels of ability are encouraged to participate and join in on all the fun and friendship.
Softball and Tennis Leagues include playoffs and an end-of-season picnic with awards.
Join us Tuesdays 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Pittsburgh Classical Academy (mid-September to May), and Wednesdays 6:45 to dusk at Schenley Park near Oval (June to August), for friendly, rules-oriented open-play (pickup).
Co-ed slow-pitch. Sundays, April through August, at Blawnox Community Park.
All doubles format, all skill levels. Mondays starting at 7:30 p.m., at Moore Park in Brookline.
In addition to our team sports, we also engage in ski trips, canoeing, miniature golf, hiking, biking, and more.
The CAC Board of Directors meets monthly, usually the first week of the month. The Board guides the direction of the Club, and consists of three major committees:
Officers are elected by the membership (full members) each November.
Additional board members are appointed by the Executive Committee, and assume a key role with the Administrative or Activities Committees.

We encourage you to get involved. Organize an event that you're interested in having. Let us know of your interest by speaking with an event leader or board member at an event. Or simply suggest an event, which we also encourage. We're always looking for new ideas.
Have any ideas on improving something about the Club? Interested in leadership opportunities? We encourage our members to help steer the course of the Club, and welcome you to speak with us concerning any interest in helping out with any of the functions above or taking on a position of leadership.
